Mini Airways: Premium lets you manage air traffic across a minimalist sim, now in pre-registration
  • Lovely minimalist visuals
  • Real-world airports and events
  • A variety of runway configurations to play with

Erabit Studios has opened pre-registration sign-ups for Mini Airways: Premium, the studio's upcoming aviation management sim. You'll take on the role of an air traffic controller and manage planes as they fly from Point A to Point B - you'll have to make sure they don't collide with anything though, so you'd best get your multitasking skills on point.

With a wide variety of airports you can tinker around in such as London, Washington, Tokyo, and Shanghai, you can test your real-time control skills and pick the best runway configurations to avoid any airway chaos. Unexpected incidents aside, you'll also need to learn how to handle classic historical events that are recreated within the sim - an intriguing quality I'd expect from the makers of 20 Minutes Till Dawn and the Methods series.

At first glance, it seems to me like the minimalist visuals can easily lull you into a false sense of security here. You might think it's all nice and cosy, but I don't doubt that it'll get pretty hectic once things literally start taking off - and that, to me, gives this sim its strong strategic appeal.
