Labyrinth City brings hidden object puzzles to Android

Formerly iOS-only

Labyrinth City brings hidden object puzzles to Android
  • Labyrinth City is out now on Android after being iOS-exclusive
  • It sees you play Pierre, the boy detective, trying to foil the enigmatic Mr X
  • Explore densely detailed cityscapes and scenes to find hidden clues

If you're at all like me, then you were probably thrilled by hidden object books when you were a child. Where's Wally? and the like all presented not just a challenge to find the titular character, but also densely illustrated and fascinating scenes to explore. So if you miss that thrill of exploration, Labyrinth City is likely for you.

Previously iOS-exclusive, Labyrinth City sees you playing as the archetypal boy detective Pierre in his hunt to foil the mysterious Mr X in his exploration of Opera City. To do so, you'll have to explore the vibrant nooks and crannies of a variety of scenes.

But perhaps the most interesting part of Labyrinth City is the fact that these are not static scenes. Although not fully animated, you'll see crowds move and shift, while a variety of intriguing hidden scenes play out if you're perceptive enough to spot them. All of which presents a very compelling picture (no pun intended).

Take a look

While I'd hesitate to call Labyrinth City a cult classic that many people were waiting for with bated breath, I've no doubt there's plenty of you who have heard about it now and are intrigued by this adaptation of the existing Pierre the Maze Detective books (that Waldo comparison was even more accurate, it seems).

And if you are, there's no better time to jump into Labyrinth City than right now! That's because, as a limited-time offer to celebrate the Google Play launch, the full game unlock is now available for 20% off.

Meanwhile, if you're fascinated by the idea of picking out hidden objects in densely detailed scenes, why not go ahead and see what other great options are out there for once you're done with Labyrinth City, in our top 15 best hidden object games on Android list?
