Play Together introduces new Minime system to create your own protege character

• Play Together is set to introduce its new Minime update
• Take care of your own Minime, interact with them and raise their stats
• After that, they'll go out and get a job, with new event currency and rewards on offer

Haegin's popular social gaming platform, Play Together, is set to include one of its most intriguing, but strangest, updates yet. Suffice it to say, if you've ever wanted your Play Together character to raise someone of their very own, you're now in luck with the Minime update.

Not quite a childcare simulator, the Minime update will see your character take custody of one of the titular tiny characters from the Minime Care Center. You won't get an advance idea of what Minime you get, and each has different stats. As their sitter, it's up to you to enrich their life and engage in activities with them.

Your Minime's future will vary depending on what stats you focus on cultivating, but when they reach a certain level, they will head out into the world and get a job. You'll then be able to see a record of that outcome in the new Minime Album as part of the Job Encyclopedia.

Care for yourself

The Minime update is certainly an interesting way of introducing a pseudo-childcare system to Play Together, but I'm sure for many, it'll be a welcome one. You'll be able to familiarise yourself with the system in new missions and the Minime Growth Journal that offers rewards based on their growth.

You'll also want to check out the new minigame, Doctor Bebe's Drop Machine. And Mimi at the Minime Care Center in Kaia Island Plaza will guide you through how Minimes work. Completing missions as part of this system will award you with the new event currency Teddy Coins that can then be used in the Drop Machine minigame.
