Play Together introduces a whopper of a new Sea Monster update
  • Haegin's popular social gaming platform, Play Together, has unleashed a new update
  • It introduces a sea monster and fishing-focused minigames
  • You'll be able to head to the beach and help repair a crashed sailing ship while collecting sea life

There's something in the water in Haegin's popular social gaming platform, Play Together. And that's because starting today, fans can jump into a suite of new nautically themed content, including exploring a wrecked ship, fishing for sea life, and even hunting down a dangerous sea monster. All this and a fishing tournament too in the aptly named Voyage Event.

The event sees an enormous ship by the name of Majesty wrecked on Kaia Island. Located in the Resort area, fans will be able to head down, save the captain and hopefully get the ship up and running. Doing so is especially important considering its role was previously to safeguard Kaia Island.

Yes, there's a sea monster on the loose, but fortunately, you've got a fishing pole handy. You can now take on eight different monstrous sea fish to catch, while those looking for a somewhat calmer way to engage with sealife can find 13 new guppies inhabiting the warmer waters around Kaia, such as the Coral Reefs.

You'll be able to enjoy a whole new minigame in the form of Find the Treasures of the Sea, too, which lets you use golden compasses earned via missions to hunt out hidden treasure. Meanwhile, a Ship Log Attendance Event lets you claim items such as a fish finder, the aforementioned golden compasses and theme draw tickets.

Finally, keep your eye out for the Monstrous Deep Sea Fishing Tournament, starting from the 7th, which ranks players based on what they catch, with top rewards on the line.

Got something else you want to play on mobile once you're done with this new update? Or not sure where to start? Well, let us give you a quick guide with our latest list of the top five new mobile games to try this week.
