Pokémon Go will bring back Eevee for the July Community Day Classic event
One Pokémon, many evolutions

- Eevee returns July 6th
- Take part in the Special Research for more rewards
- Community Day voting returns in August
After Jangmo-o takes the spotlight during Pokémon Go’s June Community Day on the 21st, things aren’t slowing down in July. A fan favourite is making its return for Community Day Classic. Eevee, the Evolution Pokémon, will be the star across the weekend of July 5th and 6th, from 2:00 pm to 5:00 pm local time.
Eevee will appear more frequently in the wild, and if you’re lucky, you might spot a Shiny. Any Eevee caught or hatched during the event window will know the Charged Attack Last Resort, and evolving it into any of its eight Evolutions by July 12th at 10:00 pm local time will grant them exclusive event moves, ranging from Scald on Vaporeon to Psyshock on Sylveon.
Limited-time evolution requirements will also return for this event, including a reduced buddy distance for Espeon and Umbreon, and just seven hearts to evolve into Sylveon. Bonuses like 1/4 Egg Hatch Distance, three-hour Lure Modules, and three-hour Incense will also be active, and don’t forget to take a few snapshots for a surprise.

A $1.99 Special Research ticket unlocks extra rewards, including Premium Battle Passes, Rare Candy XL, and encounters with Eevee and its Evolutions, some even sporting a Delightful Days Special Background. Plus, Timed Research earned by logging in during the event will continue through the week, offering more chances to find Eevee with that background and boosted Shiny odds.
