If you're not hyped about the Pokémon GO Road Trip 2025 just yet, today's freshly served details might just do the trick. This comes hot off the heels of the recently announced Ancients Recovered Go Pass, so suffice it to say that Pokémon Go fans have a lot to look forward to.
Apart from the actual IRL tour spanning seven cities across Europe, you can also expect Pokémon Go Road Trip Truck stops within the AR game - in particular, Pikachu with summer flair will be on centre stage within the one-star Raids. Catching successfully will reward you with a chance to nab a Location Background of the city, so it's worth trying your luck.
Gameplay features for the road trip include Wild Pokémon encounters too, which include Wooloo, Phanpy, and Alolan Geodude. Plus, boosted shiny rates will up your chances throughout the event, with extra gyms and PokéStops to boot.
By the way, if you happen to spot a wayward Poké Ball on the map, tap it for a surprise encounter with Voltorb, Electrode, Foongus, or Galarian Stunfisk! And speaking of Pikachu with summer flair, clear event-themed missions and you might just earn that coveted encounter.
Across the city, you can enjoy bonuses on Confetti and 3-hour Lures, plus a 50% discount on Stardust cost when you're trading. Up to 5 special trades will be available each day, and finally, you can also score a special evolution bonus for Alolan Graveler, who might just evolve into Alolan Golem with Rollout.
