Pokémon Go has announced Golden Bottle Caps, which are going to really change the power of your Pokémon by changing their HP, Attack and Defence stats. These bottle caps have been rumoured for some time, so it was no real surprise when they were finally revealed.
How do I get a Golden Bottle Cap?
The first Golden Bottle Cap is going to appear as a part of the premium Go Pass: Ancients Recovered. This pass will go live on Monday, June 23rd, to Sunday, June 29th, giving you that timeframe to earn it.Like all Go Passes in Pokémon Go, there is a free pass, but only the premium pass will unlock the Golden Bottle Cap. It is also worth noting that progressing through the premium line is easier the sooner you purchase the premium pass, as you will get an additional task each day to earn points towards that goal.

What is Hyper Training?
Hyper Training is the term used for when you use a Bottle Cap on your Pokémon. Activating your Golden Bottle Cap will start the process of training your Pokémon, which is how their stats will increase.Your Pokémon must be a Good Buddy or higher to start Hyper Training.
How many stat points will increase in Hyper Training?
You can increase your Pokémon's Attack, Defence and HP from nothing to completely full using Hyper Training. There isn't a limit on the increase; however, you will need to earn the points by doing tasks over the next year.What tasks increase the stat points of my Pokémon using Golden Bottle Caps?
For Attack, you will need to battle alongside your training Pokémon while they are your buddy.For Defence, you will need to play, explore and catch with your training Pokémon as your buddy.
For HP, you will need to explore alongside your training Pokémon as a buddy, including earning Buddy Candy and spinning PokeStops.

Will my Pokémon's CP increase during Hyper Training?
Yes, the CP for the Pokémon will increase alongside the stats. This means that if you have a Pokémon that is currently perfect for one of the lower CP-limit PVP leagues, you may want to reconsider Hyper Training it.Does my Golden Bottle Cap Expire?
Yes, in two ways. Firstly, you do need to use your Golden Bottle Cap on a Pokémon before July 6th, at 11:59 local time.Secondly, once you have used your Golden Bottle Cap, you then have 365 days to do all of the training you need for your Pokémon.
