  • Pokemon Go's new RSVP planner is now live
  • Invite players, see who's attending local raids and even set reminders
  • Get navigation tips so you never miss out on a raid

We've all been there: you've shown up for a raid in Pokémon Go late, you can't find your friends, and you've gone to the wrong location. Well, I assume something like that has happened, because Pokémon Go's new RSVP planner is all about taking the guesswork out of meeting up to enjoy some creature-catching!

Jokes aside, the RSVP planner really is a must-have for those of you who frequently attend raids both with friends and fellow enthusiasts alike. Now, you can easily see on the map where players are intending to join Raids, and even view how many have RSVP-ed to show up and play.

You can also view detailed RSVP information, such as time slots, invites sent to you for other Raids, and set reminders for when they start. There'll be no missing out on Raids because you got lost, either, as the RSVP planner will also provide help navigating to your chosen event!

The social element of Pokémon Go has always been one of the most appealing aspects of this AR creature catcher. I think we all remember the halcyon days when Pokémon Go first released and we were finally able to live out our fantasies of catching Pokémon in real life.

The RSVP planner also presents a good compromise between Niantic's increased flexibility on where players need to go, and encouraging them to get out and about, attending outside events and making it easier for players to partner up. The feature is already live, so jump into an event near you to give it a try!

And once you're back in from your local raid and want to put your feet up, why not chill out with some of the top picks we've made for our latest list of the top five new mobile games to try this week?
