Following a high-stakes collaboration with Goblin Slayer II last month, Brown Dust 2 is pivoting from grim dungeons to sun-soaked water slides with its 2nd Anniversary update, Splash Queen. Neowiz has officially opened pre-registration for the summer event, and it’s shaping up to be more than just another seasonal patch - this one’s a full-blown festival.
You can pre-register for Brown Dust 2’s second anniversary now through the official website, where the update's hub has been transformed into a vibrant water park, complete with animated character teasers, downloadable content, and community minigames.

The story itself, Splash Queen, takes a more playful turn as Beirun Elementary Headmaster Wilhelmina tries to organise a field trip to a water park. Naturally, chaos follows. Supporting tales like Midsummer Dream and Flamingo Rush expand the seasonal vibe, with Justia waking from a dream into a whole new kind of summertime trouble.
Summer variants for fan-favourite characters also appear in the update, with Hot Summer Dream Justia, Water Park Queen Wilhelmina, Poolside Guardian Zenith, and Poolside Fairy Refithea all entering the scene. Each character has their own showcase complete with voice lines and motion previews.
To top it all off, Brown Dust 2 will host a 2nd Anniversary Offline Event from June 27th to July 13th at VSQUARE in Seoul’s Gwangjin-gu district. Details on special activities and rewards are still under wraps, but expect a splashy reveal soon.
