Brown Dust 2 is all set to celebrate its second anniversary with fun and frolic at the water park. Following a successful pre-registration campaign, Neowiz hosted a special live broadcast on June 14th at their headquarters, giving fans a sneak peek at what’s coming this summer. From animated skill cutscenes to new character costumes inspired by the season’s sunniest vibes, lots were shared.
Brown Dust 2’s second anniversary is centred around Splash Queen, an event which will turn the entire world into a full-blown summer festival. The story picks up as Headmaster Wilhelmina tries to organise a simple field trip, which, unsurprisingly, spirals into a water-themed misadventure.
The Splash Queen event will be accompanied by storylines like Midsummer Dream and Flamingo Rush. Popular characters return in limited-time variants, including Hot Summer Dream Justia, Poolside Guardian Zenith, Water Park Queen Wilhelmina, and Poolside Fairy Refithea. Each variant features new voice lines, motion previews, and skill animations.
Furthermore, during the live event, the developers confirmed Story Pack 18 and teased a new Fated Guest on the horizon. Another often-requested feature, animated skill cutscenes, will also be introduced, adding an extra punch to combat. Finally, the celebration continues with the upcoming 2nd Anniversary Offline Event at VSQUARE in Seoul, running from June 27th to July 13th.
