After months of anticipation, the Wingspan: Asia Expansion is now live across all major platforms, including iOS and Android. This long-awaited update brings a fresh wave of content to the award-winning digital adaptation of the bird-themed strategy board game, offering you new gameplay options, bird species, and cross-platform multiplayer compatibility.
Central to Wingspan’s Asia Expansion is the new Duet Mode, a dedicated two-player experience that shifts the usual Wingspan dynamics. In this mode, you’ll compete on a special Duet Map, placing tokens to claim habitats while working toward distinct end-of-round goals. It’s a more focused, strategic variant designed specifically to shine in two-player sessions.
In addition, over 90 new birds from across Asia have been added to your potential flock, each accompanied by their own abilities, facts, and authentic bird calls. Thirteen new bonus cards are also included, with two designed for use in Automa mode to shake up single-player challenges. These newcomers add fresh strategies to explore in both multiplayer and solo play.
Wingspan’s signature art and sound design also continues to evolve with this expansion. The Asia update introduces four new background environments, eight nature-inspired player portraits, and four tranquil music tracks, all designed to immerse you in the quiet beauty of the East while keeping your focus sharp.
