Alessandro Bianco Interview - Tennis Clash’s reigning Roland-Garros eSeries champion discusses his preparation for the 2025 finals

On May 24th, eight of the world’s best Tennis Clash competitors will battle it out for a share of €5,000, and the title of Roland-Garros eSeries by Renault 2025 champion.

With over half a million players having competed for the right to play at the finals, this has easily been the biggest tournament held in the series so far. What do you love most about Tennis Clash and how did you first get into the game?

I actually discovered Tennis Clash by chance, just browsing for a tennis game on the Apple Store. What I love most is how it has evolved into a real esports title — it’s amazing to see a mobile game become this competitive and exciting.

How does it feel to be an ambassador for Tennis Clash and to be competing at this year’s Roland Garros eSeries event as reigning champion?

It’s a real honor. Being part of the tournament again, especially as the reigning champion, is something I’m very proud of. Representing Tennis Clash as an ambassador means a lot, and I’m excited to be back at Roland Garros this year.

What are your thoughts on the new team format and the opportunity to lead Gilles Simon’s team?

I had the pleasure of meeting Gilles Simon last year, and I’m really looking forward to seeing him again and leading our team together. It’s a cool new format that adds another layer of strategy and teamwork — I think it’s going to be a great experience.

Throughout last year’s final, you appeared composed at all times. How do you manage to stay so calm under pressure?

Honestly, I just focused on playing aggressively. Last year, my main strategy was to hit hard and not overthink. That mindset helped me stay relaxed and in control during the key moments.

Do you have any particular strategies or routines to prepare for the final?

Last year, I didn’t have a strict routine — I mostly just practiced hitting strong and staying confident. That worked back then, but I know it won’t be enough this year. I’ll have to come up with something new to stay ahead.

To see what Alessandro comes up with, make sure to tune into the final’s Twitch and YouTube streams on May 24th at 4pm CEST.
