Monopoly is one of those famous tabletop mainstays that has crossed over with everyone and everything. Many are the boxes which grace the shelves next to Funko Pops of themed versions of Monopoly. But today, Scopely's Monopoly Go is set to launch its hotly anticipated crossover collaboration with Star Wars!
In a galaxy far, far away, no one can hear you go directly to jail. And in this two-month saga set to cover the entirety of Star Wars (the Skywalker Saga) and The Mandalorian, there'll be plenty to enjoy for devoted followers of the franchise. Logging in on May 4th (Star Wars Day) will also net you an exclusive token to mark the occasion.
Be that racing through Mos Espa or Hoth in the Tycoon Racers multiplayer event, or taking on the new Star Wars, Jedi and Hyperspace Partners events, where you work together to construct Star Wars-themed statues to reap some amazing rewards.
But it's not just those events either, as you can also journey to Tatooine in three new special dig-themed events with Tatooine, Jawa and Tusken, where you'll uncover relics and treasures inspired by the Star Wars series.
Add to that a whole host of themed tokens, emojis, signature dice, shields, sticker albums to complete and other event challenges, and I'd say that this event comes jam-packed with enough to keep any Jedi occupied.
