Natsu and Lucy are heading straight for Esperia, and they’re not here for a quiet vacation. The AFK Journey x Fairy Tail crossover event is live now, and it brings with it everything you'd expect from a collab that features high fantasy with high-flying fists, a fresh storyline, new heroes, and plenty of limited-time rewards worth logging in for.
Titled Fairy Sonata, the AFK Journey crossover kicks off with a twist of dimensional magic as the Fairy Tail duo tumble into the world of Esperia through a mysterious portal. What starts as a search for Lucy’s lost possession quickly spirals into a full-blown adventure with familiar faces like Valen and Cassadee, guided by Merlin himself.
Both Natsu Dragneel and Lucy Heartfilia join the roster as powerful dimensional faction heroes. Natsu comes in hot as ever, throwing down with his signature fire-based Dragon Slayer Magic, while Lucy calls upon her Celestial Spirits using her iconic Gate Keys. You’ll be able to recruit and battle alongside them, each bringing distinct playstyles that shake up your team in interesting ways.
As you clear stages and complete daily quests, you’ll unlock deeper parts of the story and earn event currency that can be traded for all sorts of progression materials. Lucy, in particular, gets a bit of a spotlight with special rewards tied to ascending her during the event, including exclusive Temporal Essence.
