The Pocket Gamer Podcast Episode 17 - Fake Influencers, Fake Companions & Lovely Games
|

In this, the seventeenth episode of our podcast, Cat, Will and Iwan get together to discuss a selection of news stories as well as their thoughts on AI companions in games. News of Krafton's CPC plan - AI Friend/Companions within games - is discussed by the team, who talk on the effectiveness and ineffectiveness of humans and how it's a terribly hard thing to replace.

In addition to that they discuss a recent Penn State University research paper that targets mobile advertising, titled "Five ways ‘fake’ mobile games fail to meet advertised expectations".

You can listen to the podcast below, through the Spotify embed, or head over to our Spotify Page - while there you can follow us, which'll actually get the new podcasts pushed to you as they're uploaded (which means you can give it a listen before we've even got the story live on the website). We're also going to be looking at more ways of getting it to you over the coming months, so keep your eyes peeled for that.
