Once Human launches cross-test platform for mobile and PC as it heads towards launch
Play where and on what you like

- Once Human, the post-apocalyptic shooter from NetEase, is launching its first cross-play test
- This'll let players get a grasp on how cross-progression will work when Once Human hits mobile in April
- It's a closed beta, but confirms that you'll be able to seamlessly jump from device to device
While NetEase's big success over the last few months may've been Marvel Rivals, they also recently released their eldritch co-op shooter Once Human to PC. We've had promises of a mobile launch for a while now, but it seems that's finally coming to fruition as we've got the launch of Once Human's first cross-play test today!
Once Human sees humanity scattered in the aftermath of a supernatural apocalypse, forcing players to band together as survivors. The objective is to roam the land, gather support and rebuild society, then take the fight to the monstrosities that now rule the world. Naturally, though, even your fellow man may prove to be an obstacle in these dire times.
It's no surprise that Once Human has been such a highly-anticipated launch with its mix of lush visuals and horror-infused run 'n' gun gameplay. And while we've already had a couple of regular beta tests, I think that cross-progression will be a real killer feature for those of you jumping in. It'll also be likely the latest chance players will get to have a hands-on with Once Human before it's set to launch in April.

The test is currently set to run until March 30th, with sign-ups still available for interested players. I think I speak for most when I say that Once Human was never going to really grab a PC audience, especially when Marvel Rivals seems to be NetEase's big-screen hit. But for mobile players this kind of stylish shooter seems built for them, so it's good news that we won't need to wait much longer to play!
