To progress quickly in Apex Girls, there are quite a few things you can keep an eye on. In this guide to Apex Girls, you will find all the tips you need, from assembling a good team to what you should do every single day to get more Diamonds and even Echo Permits.

Apex Girls vs Scarlet Girls

First and foremost, let's address the elephant in the room. There is another game, which is virtually the same game, but it is not available globally yet. That one is called Scarlet Girls, and it plays exactly like Apex Girls. So, if you were looking for a Scarlet Girls guide, the tips I shared below will also apply to that.

From what I understand, one is the global version and the other is the SEA version, but given they have different developers, I can't say for sure. Regardless, if you want to learn exactly what you need to do, all the tips you'll find below have been tried and tested.

Progress at your own pace

There are a lot of tasks you can complete every day, but if you don't have an entire day to do them, don't worry. You don't actually need to do everything - in fact, I recommend you focus mainly on completing everything that grants you EXP, Diamonds, and Echo Permits.

Diamonds are the main currency, so you'll need plenty; EXP will help you upgrade your Stellaris, and Echo Permits are the summoning tickets. Among these tips, you'll also find the best way to spend your Diamonds. If that's something you're curious about, this is the place to be.

Check out all the tips we've got on the following pages of this Apex Girls guide!

Tip #1 - Progress in Story Mode - step by step

rewards for story stages, milestones in apex girls

At the start

The first thing you should do is complete the Story Mode up to Chapter 2. Once you reach Chapter 2, you'll unlock a lot of the functions, so you can also equip your Stellaris with gear.

You will also unlock a few more game modes, which are excellent at granting you additional goods.

Post Stage 2

Once you have reached Stage 2, you will have a pretty good understanding of how the story progresses. I suggest you upgrade all your best characters, and progress as much as you can.

There will be a point where you won't be able to continue anymore unless you have some really good SSRs or SSR+s, but that's okay, because if you level 2-3 of them up, you will manage.

So, the best way to go about this is to focus on the story mode. That's going to give you a lot of rewards (there are beginner quests that require you to clear a certain number of stages, and they reward you generously), and those can be used either in the gacha or to upgrade your existing characters.

Tip #2 - Complete the important beginner quests

beginner quests for 7 days

Novice Carnival

Apex Girls is super generous in terms of quests, as I already mentioned, and from these quests, you can also get an SSR+ character. I suggest you read through the quests so you know exactly what you need to do, mainly for the "Complete Carnival Quest".

You can find it on the left side of the main screen, under the name "Novice Carnival" - there, you will have 7 days to complete all quests, and in return, you will get the SSR+ character Sefa.

Try to focus on these starting on Day 1 - it's best to try to complete all the quests from one specific day on that same day, because if you fall behind, you might end up missing out on a lot of good rewards.

Do your daily quests

The daily quests are also incredibly good, especially since they give you 150 Diamonds and 1 Echo Permit when you complete them all. That is, besides the 20 Diamonds you get from completing the tasks.

I suggest you complete all these dailies - it will take about 15-20 minutes at most, and the rewards are worth it.

Tip #3 - Upgrade your best Stellaris

There are some good characters, and some...average ones (let's just say that). You should focus on one at a time, starting with the best one you have from the start. I don't recommend you spend all your Echo Permits on Day 1, unless you plan on going the non-F2P way.

So, you should focus on upgrading the Stellaris you get from the start, and just in case you manage to pull some additional summons and get some good ones, then upgrade those. Don't spend more resources than you have to on the R and SR characters because you won't use them.

Instead, spend your resources on SSRs and SSR+ (if you get them). Start by upgrading 1 or 2 of them to the maximum level you can, and then move on to the next. Those will be your main carries for the story mode.

Go for the Advanced Echo summons

After several days of a server being active, the Advanced Echo summons will become available. There, you can try your luck at getting a better Stellaris, preferably an SSR+. I strongly suggest you save your tickets and try summoning more when that becomes available.

Tip #4 - Join the best Legion

Since there are a lot of servers, you can expect a lot of players, but most of them are scattered across the large number of servers. You should try to join the best Legion (guild) on your server, since after a while, many players end up quitting, and eventually, the servers will merge.

Try joining one of the best, if you can't join the best one, because from that, you'll get additional free rewards and even partake with your fellow Legion mates in Legion wars.

If you don't meet the requirements to join a top-tier Legion on your server, then join any Legion you can, and once you upgrade your account and characters enough to be considered "strong", leave your current Legion and try to join one of the top ones.

Tip #5 - Log in daily

To get the most out of the game as an F2P player, the minimum you should do is to log in every day. By logging in daily, you get your free Diamonds from the Shop and other events, but also the AFK rewards.

Those will give you a lot of EXP, Diamonds and even gear, so if you feel like you're falling behind and don't know how to advance anymore, just keep on doing what you're doing - log in daily, claim rewards, rinse and repeat.

6
Tip #6 - How to spend your Diamonds?

Now, on to a topic that is a little more sensitive - Diamonds are the premium currency in Apex Girls, and if you want to advance quickly, you need to save some for future investments.

I suggest you keep your Diamonds for the Echo Premits in the Store, because that's going to be the most important reward.

What to buy from the Store

Here's a list of items you should prioritise when spending Diamonds in the store:

  • Advanced Echo Permit
  • Random Core Chest
  • Virtual Rubik
  • Twilight Echo Permit
  • Normal Echo Permit

How to get more Diamonds?

You can get Diamonds from the daily quests, but also from the main story quest. Check the Shop every day for the free rewards, as well as the event pages. Those can give you free Diamonds daily.

Tip #7 - P2W or F2P?

Finally, we're touching on a subject that is most common in gachas, and Apex Girls is no exception. If you are someone who wants to enjoy the game casually, it's fine - you can be a F2P player, but don't expect that to land you on the leaderboards on your server.

Most players you see on the leaderboards are those who invest money, and in some cases, also have Lady Luck on their side. So, if you want to play every now and again, it's better not to spend any money. Other than that, you should use one of these active codes for Apex Girls, as there are more than 200 of them at the moment!

If you want to compete with others, then it's an entirely different story. You should take advantage of the beginner exclusive packs, purchase them, and then invest in whatever exclusive packs become available during time-limited events.
