When you play Shop Titans, you don't just get to build and expand your own shop. You can also adventure into the various dungeons, collect rare materials, and then use those to craft items that sell for (a lot) more. The caveat here - you need to use some good heroes to be successful. That's exactly what we'll dive into today: the best heroes in Shop Titans.

What do you need heroes for?

Heroes - not to be confused with Champions - are the ones you hire and can reroll. You can equip various gear on them, and they come in a few different classes. Each one plays an important role - some are tanks, others healers, and others damage dealers.

You need to have a balanced team when you start exploring dungeons, especially if you're past the early stages. That will ensure a successful raid, and you'll be able to keep the heroes happy and grinding more!

Retiring heroes

You can retire the heroes you no longer want to use. As you've probably guessed, you will hire quite a lot of heroes, and as you progress, you'll have the chance to hire even some good ones. When you no longer have any need for a specific hero, you should go ahead and retire them.

If you have plenty of heroes you want to retire (in pursuit of better ones), then my recommendation is to only retire (at most) 2 at a time. You don't want to send a completely new team made up of only level 1s in a higher-level area, because that will end up in disaster.

How to level up your heroes in Shop Titans

You can level up the heroes by simply going into dungeons. The best way to do it is to have 1 new hero (level 1) alongside your already levelled-up heroes, and send them to the dungeon. The levelled-up heroes will defeat the enemy, while the new hero will reap the EXP rewards.

You can learn more about that and plenty of other tips in our Shop Titans guide!

Best heroes in Shop Titans

On the following pages, we'll take a look at the best heroes you can pick in Shop Titans, as well as why we recommend them. Keep in mind that every team needs to be balanced, so I strongly advise you to have at least one from each hero type (Fighter, Rogue, and Spellcaster).

1
Ranger

The Ranger is very good at the beginning. It is a hero that has a fairly short resting time, which is key if you want to deploy them quicker. It would be good to have at least 2 Rangers so you can rotate among them.

It's a well-rounded hero whose stats are balanced. As for the equipment, you want to give them your best gear. They can be solid, and with some good gear, you can easily use them until you unlock something better.

2
Dancer

The Dancer is incredibly good at dealing damage and evading attacks. It is a class that can be used from the mid-game all the way to the end-game, if you have decent gear for them.

One of the most important stats you want on their gear is EVA, since thanks to their passive, they will deal critical hits whenever they evade an attack. That's the only thing you need to be on the lookout for when it comes to their gear. Aside from that, they're a pretty well-rounded hero class that can also tank damage decently.

3
Geomancer

Now we can also talk about Spellcasters, and more specifically, the Geomancer. This hero is a dedicated DPS and one who deals a lot of damage. As you know, everything has an element - and the Geomancer relies on that to boost their power.

They don't have any EVA, so they will be like a glass cannon. Therefore, you need to have a solid front line in order for them to survive. I recommend you equip as many elements as possible, since that will boost their ATK significantly.

4
Knight

A Knight is good in the early game, but tends to fall off towards the late game, unless you manage to upgrade them. Of course, since the Knight is the main tank, they won't be able to deal that much damage. Their survival skills, though, will more than make up for it.

Since Knights get additional DEF from Heavy Armour, you need to give them your best ones.

5
Berserker

As it usually goes with Berserkers, they tend to get stronger the lower their HP gets - it is the same in Shop Titans. When you have a Berserker, if you give him the right equipment, he will not only be a tank, but also a DPS machine.

You can use them in any team towards the late game, since they pair well with everything. Also, you should focus on giving them the Mammoth enchant - it will make them a whole lot better.
