Lionheart Studio has just rolled out a major update for Valhalla Survival, bringing a host of new content to the roguelike hack-and-slash RPG on iOS and Android. The patch introduces the much-awaited Hero Ascension System, giving you more ways to power up your roster while unlocking enhanced skills and class-specific upgrades.
Thanks to the new Hero Ascension System in Valhalla Survival, you can now enhance your favourite Heroes, unlocking stronger abilities and gaining passive bonuses tied to cumulative ascension levels. Progressing through these tiers also rewards exclusive profile icons and frames, giving all you long-time players something to show for your grind.
In addition, new treasure chests have also started appearing in battle, each bringing game-changing effects to the field. Flames of Muspelheim project fire forward, Footsteps of Loki grant short-term invincibility, and the Coin of Fate can tilt the odds in a tight fight.
You can pair these with three powerful new weapons: the Radiance Splitting Greatsword, Starlight Honing Staff, and Starlight Cleaving Dagger. Don’t forget to use our Valhalla Survival tier list as well, which ranks all the skills and heroes from best to worst.
For high-level players, Chapter Five of Nightmare Mode is now available, pushing the difficulty ceiling even higher. And if you’re eyeing a Hero you don’t yet own, the new Hero Trial Run feature lets you test their abilities in real combat before making any decisions.
