It's a red-letter day for fans of roguelike shooters, as one of the genre's defining games is finally arriving on mobile. Yes, Enter the Gungeon is set to arrive on iOS and Android this summer for only $8.99. But not only that, it's also coming alongside the release of former Apple Arcade exclusive Exit the Gungeon!
This new release of Enter the Gungeon has been redesigned from the ground up for mobile and features all the fast-paced isometric shooter action fans have come to expect. It also sees the debut of online co-op multiplayer and the addition of a new crossover character in the form of Lamb from Cult of the Lamb.
Not only that, but as mentioned before, it's joined on mobile by the formerly Apple Arcade-exclusive Exit the Gungeon, which twists the original formula into a side-scrolling platformer, bullets notwithstanding. Available separately for $4.99, it's perfect for fans of the original who find themselves left with itchy trigger fingers.

Guns, guns, guns
Enter the Dungeon is regarded by many as one of the genre-defining examples of the roguelike genre. You're tasked with, well, entering the gungeon and reaching its lowest depths. Between you and that, however, are hordes of enemies and boss monsters, all scattered throughout handcrafted but randomised levels. While Exit the Gungeon may prove to be more of a curiosity for longtime fans, it's nonetheless good to see it return to mobile after being exclusive to Apple Arcade. We'll keep you posted as and when an official release date is announced for the Gungeon series on mobile!
