Sunset Hills is a cosy-looking point-and-click puzzler with anthropomorphic doggos, now in pre-registration
  • Charming narrative and characters
  • Painterly art style and mobile-optimised controls
  • Now in pre-order

In case you missed it, CottonGame has opened pre-registration sign-ups for Sunset Hills, the studio's aptly titled point-and-click adventure on iOS and Android. As you might expect from the genre, you'll tap, mini-game, and puzzle your way through every new scene to get to the bottom of the heartwarming narrative, which, in this case, is all about war and friendship.

Now, I didn't quite expect that theme to be interwoven into something that looks as cosy as this, but looks can be deceiving, yes? In Sunset Hills, you'll step into the shoes of the anthropomorphic doggo Nico, an author who's seemingly searching for his own story to tell.

It's all got warm and fuzzy vibes thanks to the painterly art style of the Victorian-era streets, and the lovely characters you'll meet along the way add to the charm as well.

As for the puzzles, there will be clues to piece together, trains to board, and confections to bake, all to unravel the full story of Nico's past. There's controller support too, by the way, so just in case you're not a fan of the touch controls, you can still enjoy the narrative on top of the mobile-optimised UI.

Are you on the hunt for something similar to tide you over? Why not take a look at our list of the best point-and-click adventures on Android?

In the meantime, if you're eager to join in on all the fun, you can do so by pre-registering for Sunset Hill on the App Store and on Google Play.
