How to get Coin Master chests

Ah, the elusive treasure chest. All adventurers worth their salt know just how valuable these are, and often, valiant (or not-so-valiant) heroes would even go as far as to loot random villagers' houses just to pop open chests and steal whatever treasure is inside (to the innocent NPCs' dismay).
In Coin Master, you're no different. You're still a loot-grabbing, treasure-stealing nuisance of an adventurer, only this time, the chests you steal are buried in other people's backyards. And because you're a no-good treasure chest hoarder, you'll dig up those buried goodies and claim them as your own - but exactly how do you get Coin Master chests so that you can amass more ill-gotten wealth?
Why should you get Coin Master chests in the first place?
We adventurers are simple folk - we see a treasure chest, we open it. Mimics have dedicated their entire lives to preying on adventurers' greed this way, but in Coin Master, you don't have to worry about camouflaged monsters hidden inside would-be chests. All you have to do is keep spinning the wheel, and you're golden. But exactly why do you need these chests in the first place? In Coin Master, you can collect cards with varying rarities to add to your collection - you can even trade with friends (because the more, the merrier).
The Wooden Chest, Golden Chest, and Magical Chest all contain different amounts of cards - you can get coins and XP too, if you're lucky!
How to get Coin Master chests
With that out of the way, how do you get Coin Master chests? You can, of course, throw money at the problem and just purchase them from the shop. Or, you can do it the old-fashioned way through hard work and a little bit of luck - okay, plenty of luck. For one, you can raid other people's villages, and you might just dig up some chests. For another, you're also rewarded with some chests when you start a new village, or when you clear certain levels.
Essentially, just keep spinning and you'll keep winning! Time to pray to the RNG gods, I'd say.
