Delta Force Mobile launches next week, and it does so alongside a massive core update
As revealed in new stream

- Delta Force has unveiled a new livestream showing off upcoming content
- A major patch will coincide with the mobile launch, although it's not clear whether that'll arrive on mobile on release
- But we can still look forward to Operations and Warfare mode as well as a whole host of other updates
The upcoming mobile launch on April 21st of tactical shooter Delta Force will coincide with a major PC patch. Details of the upcoming release for iOS and Android were shown off in a recent livestream, which also gave us a glimpse of an upcoming night fighting map and a new operator.
It's not hard to see that anticipation is continuing to rise for Delta Force's revival. Although it may be different to the modern military shooter, it's praised for granular authenticity, and there's no doubt that Team Jade's revival has the true AAA experience on its side if nothing else.
While it's not clear whether the new Operation Blackout map, which introduces night-time combat to Delta Force, and the new operator Nox will be included at launch for mobile, we can at least expect to see both the extraction shooter Operations mode and the large-scale Warfare mode being included from the get-go.

The excitement for Delta Force is, I've no doubt, at least partially tied to its Warfare mode. Extraction shooters are not exactly a rarity on mobile, but something which offers a Battlefield-like experience of large-scale combat, complete with vehicles, is unsurprisingly quite appealing to FPS fans.
With 20 million pre-registrations already, the same-day iOS and Android launch also promises plenty of release rewards for prospective mobile players. Weapon skins, vehicle skins and other goodies are all on the cards. But I reckon that it's the content, and how up-to-date Delta Force for mobile is with its PC version, that will dictate a successful launch.
But, if you've got an itch for shooters that needs scratching ASAP, don't hesitate to take a look at some of our lists. We've ranked the top shooters for both iOS and Android, for simulation enthusiasts and those into arcade action alike.
