Tribe Nine Chapter 3, Neo Chiyoda City, brings new characters and foes alike later this month

For fans of cyberpunk, anime action and Rui Komatzusaki's distinctive art style, Tribe Nine has proven to be a major hit. Little surprise then that consistent content updates are on the way, with the newest around the corner as Chapter 3, Neo Chiyoda City arrives on April 16th!
Chiyoda, the most iconic business district in all of Japan (and also an area that includes both the Imperial Palace and otaku haven Akihabara) seems to be the setting for this newest update. With the latest trailer boasting mysterious new characters and enigmatic villains, there's plenty to discover in the latest chapter.
You only need to take a glance at the Director's Letter released earlier in the year to get a hint of what's coming up, as it looks as if the members of the Trash tribe are once more set to butt heads with one of the tyrannical Numbers ruling over Neo Tokyo.
With Chiyoda covering so many iconic locations in real life, I think there's plenty to look forward to. The trailer teases everything from maid cafes to idol shows, as well as the aforementioned latest Number that players will face down in the climactic Extreme Baseball battle.
With its mixture of real-time battles, the more distinctive and unusual Extreme Baseball Mode, and retro overworld exploration, Tribe Nine stands well on its own. But the decision to tie it in more overtly with the anime (still available to watch for free on YouTube until April 29th) will, I feel, either make it more attractive to players or put others off for fear of being out of the loop.
