Ark: Ultimate Mobile Edition launches Genesis Part 1 expansion pack
Nothing to do with Star Trek

- Ark: Ultimate Mobile Edition is launching its new Genesis Part 1 expansion
- Experience new story-driven missions inside a virtual simulation
- Explore everything from the deep ocean to low-gravity lunar terrain
With all manner of gigantic prehistoric monsters to defeat and tame, not to mention other players, Ark: Ultimate Mobile Edition already lives up to its promise of delivering the definitive sci-fi dino-survival experience on mobile. Now, things are getting even bigger and much more dangerous with the latest expansion, Genesis Part 1, now available to buy!
Unlike the previous expansion, Extinction, Genesis Part 1 doesn't just provide new sandbox maps but instead focuses on something usually in the background of Ark: story. You'll awaken trapped inside a mysterious virtual simulation, aided by your robotic companion HLN-A. To survive, you'll make your way through various story-driven missions to uncover exactly what's going on.
And these are no joke either, as your skills at combat, exploration, and strategy will all be tested. Be that traversing eerie bogs or fiery volcanoes, to deep oceans and low-gravity lunar terrain. All infested by a variety of strange new creatures such as Magmasaurs, giant sea turtles and space whales.

While the base of Ark: Ultimate Mobile Edition is free-to-play, you'll need to purchase expansions, such as Genesis Part 1, separately, with previous expansions priced at $5.99. Alternatively, you can purchase the ARK Subscription Pass ($4.99/month) to gain access to all existing and future expansion packs, as well as a wealth of other exclusive goodies such as God Console for single-player worlds.
If you're planning on jumping into Genesis Part 1, it's also worth keeping an eye out for discounts celebrating the Ark franchise's 10th anniversary, with Keys (the in-game currency) now at 20% off.
