Endless Grades combines everything that I love about mobile games in general: gacha, an idle battle system and, of course, pixel graphics! Today you have before your eyes a complete guide for Endless Grades Pixel Saga, from yours truly.

As with many other similar experiences, you have a clear tutorial that will show you the basics and what you need to do in order to advance. What the tutorial doesn't cover is what comes after, and what you need to do if you want to reach the top % of players. With many gachas under my belt, I think this is right up my alley. Let's dive right in.

To pay or not to pay

...that is the age-old question.

It is well-known that every gacha is P2W in most scenarios. Well, if not every gacha, most of them at least. In Endless Grades, you have the option to pay for microtransactions, of course. But is that a must?

I believe that if you really need something from the Store, you can buy it, but it won't make a huge difference. I think that you can enjoy this just as it is, as a completely F2P player. You can invest in a couple of good monthly passes, but aside from that, I don't think it requires you to empty your wallet every time.

You can pick between two passes, the Hero Pass and the Valkyrie Writ pass, which both give you amazing rewards. Furthermore, you can choose to get the pass with an additional 10 levels unlocked for another $10 (roughly). I don't even think that is necessary if you play it consistently and complete all of the tasks needed.

My tip: I recommend you don't invest in anything other than the passes.

Okay, the awkward part is out of the way. Now let's take a look at some actual Endless Grades: Pixel Saga tips and dive into our guide!

Tip #1 - Pass as many stages as you can

gacha interface in endless grades pixel saga

The first step towards a good life in Endless Grades: Pixel Saga is pushing through as many stages as you can. From the moment you start playing, you should start challenging the bosses and passing through the stages at a steady pace. The rewards you'll get should go straight into summoning new heroes until you have a decent team.

Once you have a decent team set up, you can start pushing through the stages. Try upgrading your Valkyrie (I've written more details on this below) and then work on upgrading your heroes. The heroes can be upgraded differently than in most games - you just ascend them.

So, this revolves quite a lot around having a decent team and doing your gachas. I suggest you progress as much as you can with the team you have, and then start investing your resources in getting stronger heroes and upgrading your Valkyrie. This is a neverending process, so once you get started, you'll be stuck in a loop. It's a fun one, though!

Tip #2 - It's raining chests!

legendary chest in endless grades

Every time you challenge a boss and win, you will earn a chest. These chests can also be obtained from various daily tasks and main quests, and if you want to upgrade your Valkyrie quickly as well as your heroes, then you need to open as many of them as you can.

The chests have a gauge that you can fill up by opening more - when you fill the bar, you will receive a certain chest (increasingly better rewards, then reset).

How much does each chest fill the bar?

  • Common Chests = 1 point
  • Rare Chests = 10 points
  • Epic Chests = 20 points
  • Legendary Chests = 50 points
  • Mythic Chest = 0 points -> then you reset the bar

Mythic Chests should be your goal since they give you the most rewards (5). You have a really high chance to get an SSR hero from it too, so make sure you open the chests as often as you get some!

Tip #3 - Always upgrade your Valkyrie as much as you can

valkyrie leveled up

Your Valkyrie is your main character - this is the one you will gain most of the power from, so it needs to be upgraded constantly. The Valkyrie has equipment too, which is a default one. You need to upgrade your Valkyrie's level and ascend her whenever you have some Valkyrie EXP (you get this from chests), and whenever she reaches the maximum level, you need to advance her.

As for the equipment, you can simply hit the Quick Enhance button to upgrade all equipment together. It's the simplest option, and it works pretty well too.

Lastly, you can also opt for a different Valkyrie outfit. The outfit can only be purchased with real money, or obtained from various events, and it will change her look and grant an additional 2% ATK and 2% HP to all the heroes in the party. It's not a must, but it's a nice change (especially the Soul Bringer Valkyrie outfit).

Tip #4 - Complete all the Wild tasks

tower in wild trials

When you go to the Wild tab, you will see a bunch of different trials. The first one you unlock is the Tower, which is one of the most fun among them all. To unlock them, all you need to do is pass specific stages (stage 120 for God's Trial, stage 26 for Arena, and so on).

You need to complete as many of these trials every single day if you want to be among the best players in Endless Grades: Pixel Saga. They will each give you great rewards that can become better and better the more you advance. I suggest you start with the Endless Tower. Complete as many stages as you can, and when you cannot advance any more, take a break.

Do some upgrades to your team and Valkyrie, then continue challenging it. The same applies to pretty much everything in the Wild tab, except for the Arena. In the Arena, you need to reach a really high power to challenge the top players.

Tip #5 - Get max rewards every day

1000 free draw tickets in endless grades

Let's talk about the max rewards for a moment. What I mean by this, is do all of your dailies and complete as many quests and tasks as possible. You have your Quests underneath your team formation (on top of the Loot button) and there you can see what daily, weekly and main quests you can complete, as well as what rewards you can claim.

Next to these, you should go to the Town tab and head over to the Market. There you can see what deals there are every day, and if you lack something, you should buy it. I personally go for the Legendary Chest and the Recruit Scrolls whenever I can, since that's what I need the most at the point I'm at.

You can also go for the SSR Random Shards if you are looking to recruit more SSRs exclusively.

Log in every single day

Every single day you log in (without doing anything else), you can claim free Recruit Scrolls. It offers up to 1000 free draws, which is HUGE. I suggest that even if you don't have time to play a whole lot, just log in to claim these and your check-in rewards.

It's extremely generous in terms of rewards, summons, and whatnot, so as long as you just log in every day and claim these rewards, they will stack up and you can use them all one day when you have time to play.

And, of course, redeem Endless Grades codes whenever you can, as they will get you plenty of freebies!

Tip #6 - Always summon 10x

5 out of 10 summons

This is just a personal preference because, for some reason, I always get 1x SSR whenever I pull 10 times from the gacha. I never managed to pull an SSR hero from the single recruits, so this little tip might help you out in case you're also struggling with getting some SSR.

Long story short, just summon 10x - ALWAYS!

Tip #7 - Use Inspiration Potions

quests

Inspiration Potion is a buff that is located on top of the Loot button (green bar) and it acts like a buff that speeds up the battle process by quite a lot. There are 3 types of Inspiration Potions, and the best one is Inspiration III.

This one will give you 3x battle speed for 30 minutes, and whenever you are actively playing (not offline/idle), you should have one running. It is recommended to use them only when you're online because that way you can progress a lot faster while you go about your day doing your daily quests.
