Are you eager to learn who the best heroes are in Crystal Knights? This Crystal Knights tier list will give you the full rundown, so you can always pick the right heroes for your main team!

If you play the game, you will know there are 4 types of heroes, or better yet, 4 classes:

  • Tank
  • Melee DPS
  • Ranged DPS
  • Support

Each class has its role, and ideally, a team should have at least one of each. The best you could do is have a team that is balanced depending on what content you're trying to clear - for instance, if you need 2 or even 3 tanks for a specific raid, you should put 3 tanks in your team.

As for the supports, there are a couple of types of supports: the ones that heal, and the ones that buff your team. Sometimes it's better to have one of each, so you can boost your DPS damage.

In this Crystal Knights tier list, I've ranked them all together neatly, so all you have to do is take a look at the best ones, starting with the SS tier! Don't worry if you don't have any of them yet, just work your way up from the S-tier or even A-tier heroes.

SS Tier

Alice's encyclopedia
  • Iris (Melee DPS)
  • Lappy (Ranged DPS)
  • Lena (Melee DPS)
  • Frederick (Tank)
  • Flora (Ranged DPS)
  • Raxis (Ranged DPS)
  • Sophia (Tank)
  • Alice (Support)
  • Clair (Ranged DPS)
  • Loren (Ranged DPS)
  • Ella (Tank)
  • Jessica (Support)
  • Gladys (Tank)
  • Hyperion (Tank)
  • Ceres (Support)
  • Isis (Tank)
Iris

Iris is one of the best Melee DPS in the game, and her damage is just... wow! If you upgrade her and activate Breakthrough, she has very good stat scaling and her skills are also noteworthy. To top it all off, she can also inflict CC on enemies.

Isis

Despite being just an S-rank hero, Isis is one of the best tanks in Crystal Knights, hence her spot on this tier list. She has a Taunt in her kit, and she can also reduce incoming damage, which is ideal for a front liner. Give her a good healer, and she can tank for days - just make sure you upgrade her.

Alice

Alice is another S-rank hero who is ranked extremely well because her kit is ideal for a support. She can heal allies' HP, but she can also grant the closest ally to her a significant ATK buff. Make sure you have a good DPS next to her, so you can benefit from this buff.

2
S Tier

Lisselotte in a blue dress, holding a book
  • Ruria (Support)
  • Eckhart (Melee DPS)
  • Lisselotte (Support)
  • Aurel
  • Isabel (Melee DPS)
  • Nancy
  • Nix (Ranged DPS)
  • Zinna (Support)
  • Vlad
  • Kairena(DPS)
  • Masha (Tank)
  • Betty (Ranged DPS)
  • Kiria
  • Gunther (Ranged DPS)
  • Gunther (Ranged DPS)
  • Scarlet (Melee DPS)
Nix

Nix is a very good S rank hero that can deal a lot of damage, and can also inflict crowd control on enemies. She works best for farming, because of the CC that can help keep your front liners alive longer.

Lisselotte

Lisselotte is a very good support that heals the entire team, and can also deal some damage. The best part is, she has a stun in her kit on the secondary skill, and that can help a lot for farming.

Masha

Masha is a really good tank, who has good sustain. She can heal herself when her HP drops below a certain point, and she can also damage enemies and inflict some CC.

3
A Tier

Thanatos holding a huge crystal sword
  • Thanatos (Melee DPS)
  • Jason (Support)
  • Gabe (Tank)
  • Willy (Tank)
  • Setho (Melee DPS)
  • Benny (Melee DPS)
  • Pleta (Melee DPS)
  • Theron (Support)
  • Dione (Ranged DPS)
Thanatos

Thanatos is an S hero, but even as a damage dealer, he is not as great as some of the others. He has good damage output but can die easily unless you have a good healer.

Theron

Theron is a decent support hero, and way better than Jude, but she needs a lot of ATK to make the healing count. It's best to use a more powerful one, unless you have no other choice.

Willy

Willy's a pretty good tank - he has Taunt and can reduce enemy ATK, but he can die easily unless you have him maxed out and paired up with a good healer on your team.

4
B Tier

Leo swinging a huge flat sword
  • Leo (Melee DPS)
  • Walter (Tank)
  • Perses (Ranged DPS)
  • Jude (Support)
  • Xenon (Tank)
  • Bella (Ranged DPS)
  • Ingrid (Ranged DPS)
Leo

Leo can be a decent damage dealer, if you're facing a single target. He can teleport to said target to deal a short burst of damage, and that's about it.

Jude

Jude can be a decent healer, but only in the early game. If you do decide to upgrade her for the Knight HP recovery, it can work, but only temporarily - she cannot sustain the healing for too long.

Xenon

As a tank, Xenon can be decent in the early game, but falls off quickly, even as soon as chapter 2 or 3 (depending on your team). His shield saves him sometimes, but you need to have a very good healer to keep him alive.

5
C Tier

Heca wielding a huge green staff
  • Cara (Ranged DPS)
  • James (Ranged DPS)
  • Mentu (Melee DPS)
  • Heca (Support)
  • Ted (Melee DPS)
James

James can damage all enemies within range and cause an explosion, dealing AoE damage. He is okay, but his damage is lacking.

Heca

Heca can recover a percentage of allies' HP, but due to having only one skill and not underwhelming healing, she's only a C on our Crystal Knights tier list.

Cara

Cara can damage enemies in five directions around her, but the damage pales in comparison to other heroes'.

6
D Tier

Dorothy - the redhead archer hero from Crystal Knights
  • Sherry (Support)
  • Dorothy (Ranged DPS)
  • Lucy (Tank)
  • Ian (Tank)
  • Luna (Melee DPS)

These heroes are the dregs of our Crystal Knights tier list, meaning they're not worth upgrading at all unless you reach the end-game. They have only one skill, and it's not that great either. Only upgrade them when you've maxed out all of the SS-tier ones, and you need the Crystals. The Breakthrough for the D-tier heroes is the same as for every other one (except the SS heroes, who have 10 levels of Breakthrough), so don't waste resources on them unless you really have to.

Reroll guide

Isis with a huge flaming sword in one, and shield in the other hand

As we come to the end of our Crystal Knights tier list, we'd usually cover rerolling, but it is not really an option here. You cannot log in on a guest account, and the summons are level-locked - meaning, you need to summon a certain number of times to increase your odds of getting higher-rarity heroes.

While you cannot reroll, you can do something else. You can have a secondary email account that you can switch to from your main account, and try playing the game there in case you get stuck on your main and cannot progress further (for a while). For other similar content, consult the Type Soul tier list, Tarisland tier list and others as well. All you need to do is play detective a little and type in the name of the game that you're interested in at the top!
