Mobile Legends: Bang Bang is bringing back the Mid Season Cup to Riyadh for the 2025 Esports World Cup
  • This year’s prize pool is $3 million
  • The Wildcard stage takes place between July 10th to 13th
  • The final tournament will be held late in July

The Mobile Legends: Bang Bang Mid Season Cup is making its return to Riyadh for the 2025 Esports World Cup, bringing with it another round of international competition and a staggering $3 million prize pool. As part of EWC’s growing commitment to mobile esports, the MSC will also be featured again next year in the 2026 edition of the tournament.

Kicking off with the Wildcard stage from July 10th to 13th during the EWC Festival, teams who haven’t qualified yet will get one last chance to earn their spot in the main event. From there, the official MSC tournament will run from July 23rd to August 2nd, featuring 16 of the world’s best MLBB squads.

The format this year sticks with what works - a group stage featuring two double-elimination brackets of eight teams each, followed by a single-elimination playoff for the final eight. On top of the multi-million dollar prize pool, the tournament MVP will take home a $10,000 bonus.

Qualifiers from across the globe are already underway. Teams from top regions like MPL Indonesia, Philippines, Malaysia, and LATAM are vying for their slots, while champions from regions like Cambodia, Türkiye, and Myanmar have either locked in or are closing in on qualification.
