Space Squad Survival launches with intergalactic resource management, evil aliens, and pesky space pirates

Don't forget to keep morale up, Captain

Space Squad Survival launches with intergalactic resource management, evil aliens, and pesky space pirates
  • Gather resources and expand your spaceship
  • Battle space pirates and grab well-earned loot
  • Defend against the aliens to survive

Just as it was teased last month, Rebel Twins has now announced the official launch of Space Squad Survival, the studio's base-builder-slash-survival adventure on iOS and Android. As you might expect from the title alone, it'll task you with trying to survive in space with your squad, whether that means gathering resources to keep your tummies fed or battling against intergalactic pirates to protect your trusty spaceship.

Space Squad Survival throws in plenty of resource management into the mix, but with uncharted planets to explore and fearsome alien threats to hunt down. Apart from the pesky space pirates you have to contend with, you'll expand your ship to maximise your resources, and keep up your squad's morale too while you're at it. Nobody said it would be easy being captain, after all.

To me, though, what makes this so appealing - at least at first glance - is how adorable the visuals look. Sure, trying to survive across the harsh environment of outer space can be daunting, but when the characters are this cute, it's easy to forget about the dire situation you're in.
