Etheria: Restart confirms release date to be in early June

During its global pre-launch livestream, XD Games confirmed that Etheria: Restart is set to launch on iOS, Android, and Steam early in June. A lot of fresh content was revealed, including new characters and systems coming to the next-gen turn-based RPG alongside the announcement of a final closed beta test starting May 8th. It’s our clearest look yet, and the future looks intense.
Set in a neon-drenched metropolis where Hyperlinkers command sentient beings called Animus, Etheria: Restart combines cinematic storytelling with deep tactical combat. The highlight of the broadcast was the debut of Freya, a powerful SSR Animus whose ice-themed abilities and area-control toolkit make her a formidable fighter.
Several key gameplay systems were also shown off, including Smart Shells, AI assistants that support you mid-battle and Origin Gear, which introduces deeper build customisation for your Animus. Instance Dungeons have been streamlined without losing their visual edge, adding new boss mechanics and layered arenas that demand sharp positioning and timing.
The livestream also spotlighted the Real-Time Arena (RTA), a new PvP mode that features live battles with ranked matchmaking, seasonal resets, and exclusive rewards. RTA is designed to appeal to both casual and hardcore players, offering quick, intense matches where tactical decisions matter. Plus, the Phantom Theatre will feature thrilling PvE battles where you can fight bosses together.

Beyond launch, XD Games teased the Etheria World Summit, a global tournament series that will bring the best players together for competitive events with broadcast support and structured qualifiers.
