Seems like Apple Arcade is on a roll this January with the launch of Trials of Mana+, letting fans of the classic Mana series get their hands on the RPG on iOS. As you might expect, you're tasked with embarking on a world-saving journey with your merry band of partymates, with a choice of three out of six main characters whose narratives will overlap depending on which heroes you pick.
Trials of Mana+ features lovely 3D graphics that pack a nostalgic punch, as it seems you'll be able to experience OG scenes but with updated visuals. Combat is a dynamic affair with signature ring menus fans of the franchise will find very familiar, with more than 300 kinds of abilities to tinker around with when it comes to your character lineup.
Beginner, Easy, Normal, and Hard difficulty settings are at your disposal to keep the rage-quits at bay, and there's an old-school "New Game Plus" too - something we touched upon in our latest podcast episode - to unlock more storylines for your heroes.
All these come with improved quality-of-life enhancements on mobile, including auto-target, auto-camera, and cloud saves.
