- Take on epic monstrosities with unimaginable rewards
- Loot, sell, repeat
Hello and welcome to Ahead of the Game, a series where we tell you all about an upcoming game that, despite not being out yet, is available for you to play at the time of publishing. Through this series, you can grab a chance to play games well ahead of their release date, be that through Soft Launch, Open Beta, Demos, or more.
When faced with the possibility of nabbing treasures beyond your wildest dreams in a dungeon where death is almost certain, are you sensible enough to turn back with your life intact, or do you charge headfirst into battle with a vehement "YOLO"?
It's exactly this kind of ultimatum-based thinking that gets adventurers in trouble, but we never learn, do we?

As you can probably tell from the title, Gold and Glory is all about risking it all in exchange for unimaginable wealth. The PvPvE dungeon-crawler will have you questioning your own morality too as you venture deeper into the dungeon. After all, when the risks are high, the rewards are even higher - and you always have the option to grab the loot all to yourself and leave your teammates to die.
The only problem is that other teams are vying for the same loot as you - and they're not going to let you walk away scot-free.
I suppose there's something inherently thrilling about these kinds of high-stakes quests, which interestingly plays into basic human greed, doesn't it? I, for one, couldn't resist my curiosity when I saw a mysterious hallway up ahead during one of my dungeon-crawling expeditions. There were skeletons littered on the ground and lava flowing everywhere, but did I listen to that inner voice telling me the whole thing was a bad idea?

No, I did not. I strode boldly into that corridor, and the moment I did, the skeletons on the ground rose to life and beat me to a bloody pulp. Apparently, when there's loot on the line, all my common sense promptly goes out the window.
Did I make the right call by venturing into the unknown without calling on my teammates first? No. Would I do it all over again? Absolutely.
So, how do you play Gold and Glory?

This medieval extraction adventure is currently in Early Access (or Season 0, as they're calling it), so you can give it a go on Google Play and give the devs your feedback if you want to be a part of its development.
There are exclusive skins up for grabs during Early Access too, so whether you fancy showing up as a Warrior, a Ranger, or a Wizard, you can let the whole world know you were right there from the very beginning once Gold and Glory goes into full launch!
