Dragon Ball Project: Multi is now Dragon Ball Gekishin Squadra
Hi-yah!

- Dragon Ball Project: Multi is now Dragon Ball Gekishin Squadra
- The multiplatform MOBA wrapped a recent network test
- It boasts a host of new characters and a brand-new mode to look forward to on release
There are few series out there, anime or otherwise, as timeless and long-lasting as Dragon Ball. And although series creator Akira Toriyama sadly passed away last year, it seems that's not slowing the franchise down as Bandai Namco recently announced that the MOBA-style battler Dragon Ball Project: Multi would be renamed Dragon Ball Gekishin Squadra.
Gekishin Squadra pits teams of iconic Dragon Ball characters against one another in typical MOBA fashion. While it may be different to what Dragon Ball fans are used to, there's no doubt that it's jam-packed with many familiar faces and fan-favourite characters.
While a network test only recently wrapped, it did offer a glimpse at what we can expect from Gekishin Squadra in more detail now that a new identity has been hammered out. For one, it introduced the new Finders Keepers mode, which pits teams against one another with one trying to find hidden treasure chests and the other trying to keep them out of their grasp.

Power up
As you might expect, this recently concluded network test also introduced many new characters, and no prizes for guessing that series mainstays Super Saiyan Goku & Vegeta were featured. But longtime fans of the franchise will also be pleased to see returning favourites such as Super Uub, Dabura and Full Power Bojack joining the lineup.Gekishin Squadra has been in and out of various tests, but hopefully we'll see it released properly on mobile later this year. While longtime fans may prefer something a little more confrontational (A'la DBFZ), there's doubtless been plenty of interest in finding out what Gekishin Squadra has to offer.
