Honkai: Star Rail 2.6 Update revisits Penacony and adds a new 5-star hero

- Honkai: Star Rail version 2.6 is taking players back to Penacony and Paperfold University
- There's also a new 5-star character to meet with Rappa
- The Simulated Universe DLC is also set to receive a major update
While Zenless Zone Zero may be top of the charts at the moment, MiHoYo's other top games aren't going short on content. Case in point, the newest version of Honkai: Star Rail is set to hit storefronts very, very soon, and it'll take players back to the fan-favourite location of Penacony!
After their most recent Xianzhou adventure, players will now get to experience Penacony once more and visit the prestigious Paperfold University, with the crew of the Astral Express serving as guests of honour. There's also the hilariously named new Trailblaze Continuance mission, Banana Outrage: Battles Without Ninja and Humanity to contend with.
Meanwhile, a new 5-star character is here to recruit, with Rappa the Galaxy Ranger joining the fray, a woman with a strange obsession with Ninjas. And of course, there's the new update to the Simulated Universe DLC, presenting you with fresh challenges and opponents to overcome. The new update hits all platforms on October 23rd!
MiHoYo has, as I often say, managed to craft three immensely popular games. And while at the moment they seem to be doing quite well at keeping them all competitive with each other in terms of content, I can't help but wonder if they might have bitten off more than they can chew. Well, we'll just have to see if that's the case, but I reckon anything more than these three might start straining their resources.
