DC Dark Legion, the strategy RPG from FunPlus, has surpassed five million players, it has been announced. FunPlus are set to celebrate the milestone with exclusive rewards for players, while a new in-game event offers an exciting Egg Hunt for participants.
DC Dark Legion sees the familiar DC Universe invaded by the Batman Who Laughs, an evil Jokerised version of the Dark Knight, and the Justice League driven underground. So, naturally, it's up to you to form your own Dark Legion out of both iconic heroes and villains to fight back against these multiversal forces.
Given the evergreen fondness for DC, it's little surprise that Dark Legion, which allows you to create your own Batcave from which to operate, has proven so popular. To celebrate those five million players, FunPlus has activated the code DC5Million that can be redeemed to nab some exclusive rewards.
But it's not just anniversary celebrations taking place in DC Dark Legion that you can look forward to. Until April 27th, the new Titans Egg Hunt is taking place, seeing you place as Beast Boy in an attempt to revert the world back after it's turned into a (literal) giant board game.
Completing loops of the board will earn you a variety of in-game resources such as the Magic Eye, a Lounge skin and even World Anvil fragments. So, if you're interested in finding out what all the fuss is about with DC Dark Legion, now might be the best time to jump in and find out for yourself.
