Tower of God: New World introduces two major new characters
And a new system to boot

Netmarble's Tower of God, based on the hit webtoon series, is set to receive two major new characters in its latest update. The new update also adds the Pioneer's Remnant System, perfect for hardcore players who've already conquered all there is to face in the titular tower.
The first of the two new characters is Xia Xia, an SSR+ Elite Spy with the Red Element, Support and Light Bearer Tags. She boasts a mixture of powerful AoE support and HP recovery skills. Meanwhile, Zahard is an Adventurer with the Green Element, Warrior and Fisherman tags, who debuts as the very first XSR+ grade character in Tower of god: New World.
The new XSR+ grade is intended to cover teammates that are either an IF (imaginary) version of an SSR+ character, or have an alternate appearance from their original. While they may share animations and skills for their SSR+ counterpart, you'll find that the new Revolution skills are more than enough to distinguish them.
These two new characters are also complemented by the addition of the Pioneer's Remnant System. Clearing Hard Mode will grant you the titular resource, which can then be exchanged for growth materials and other rewards, perfect for players who've already conquered the hardest stages.
You'll want to jump in quickly because both Zahard and Xia Xia will see new events, [Elite Spy] Xia Xia Release Celebration and [Adventurer] Zahard Release Celebration. Both of which will offer either the new character or other exciting rewards.
