PUBG Mobile introduces new collab content based on upcoming film 28 Years Later
  • PUBG Mobile is collaborating with the upcoming British horror film 28 Years Later
  • Fans in Western Europe will be able to dive into a new World of Wonder map inspired by the film
  • Visit recognisable locations and wield signature weapons while taking on new minigames

In terms of British horror film icons, few are more well-known internationally than the 28 Days Later franchise. Now, fans of PUBG Mobile's battle royale shootouts will be able to jump into new collaboration content inspired by the upcoming 28 Years Later, including locations and weapons inspired by the film.

Running until July 6th, fans from Western Europe will be able to jump into a new World of Wonder map inspired by 28 Years Later, which is set in a devastated Britain decades after it was overtaken by a virus which transforms its hosts into deadly killers.

You'll be able to drop in and visit locations such as Causeway, Holy Island, and the Bone Temple fans will already recognise from the trailers for 28 Years Later. Meanwhile, exclusive weapons themed after signature armaments from the film will also be available to take into battle.

While fans may be disappointed that this collab isn't on the same scale as something such as, say, the Attack on Titan crossover, this is nonetheless a rather fun way to promote the upcoming film. You'll be able to jump into themed minigames which let you win exclusive rewards, such as custom avatars, avatar frames and themed sprays.

Naturally, you'll also be able to make use of new items, traps, objectives and survival challenges to drop into your own World of Wonder map and create your original take on the 28 Years Later theme.
