Caverna brings a digitised version of the iconic board game to iOS, Android, and Steam
Build and expand your tribe

- Uwe Rosenberg’s strategy board game goes digital
- Expand your tribe and manage resources
- Up to seven players can game together
Caverna has officially dug its way onto iOS, Android, and Steam, bringing Uwe Rosenberg’s beloved strategy board game to digital life. Whether you're commanding a solo tribe of dwarves or facing off against six others, this adaptation delivers all the depth and decision-making you expect, with some handy features built for mobile and PC play.
If you haven’t played it before, Caverna is all about expanding your tribe and managing your resources wisely. You'll start in a humble cavern, but as turns go by, you'll clear forests, cultivate fields, fence in pastures, and dig deeper into the mountains. The choices you make shape your path, be it focusing on farming and breeding animals or heading underground to mine for ore and gems.
Mining opens up a fresh layer of strategy. You can now forge weapons and send your dwarves on adventures, giving you new ways to take actions beyond the traditional worker placement style. Furnishing rooms within your cavern lets you grow your tribe and convert your goods into wealth, opening up long-term tactics as you try to build the most prosperous stronghold possible.

The digital version supports up to seven players and includes AI opponents with different personalities for solo sessions, as well as local and online multiplayer modes. You can even go asynchronous with push notifications, so you don’t have to be online at the same time as your opponents.

Weekly challenges offer setups and leaderboards for competitive solo play, and you can review your own matches or learn from others with the playback system. Caverna offers both the classic board game look and a 3D interpretation, giving you a choice between tradition and flair. It’s perfect if you're looking for a game with zero combat and a focus on planning.
