Pokémon Go is testing the Go Pass, its own version of the battle pass in a select few regions
More ways to earn rewards

- New Go Pass feature being tested out in select regions
- You can participate in it between April 1st and May 6th
- Free and Deluxe tiers available
Soon enough, you’ll have a new way to earn rewards in Pokémon Go as it's just launched a test run in select regions for its upcoming feature, the Go Pass. After the success of the Tour Pass during the Pokémon Go Tour: Unova, this new system will globally roll out soon. And if you're in one of the eligible areas, you can also take part in Go Pass: April and get yourself numerous goodies.
Battle passes are everywhere these days and now you can see Pokémon Go join in on the action too. From April 1st to May 6th, you can collect Go Points to rank up your pass and unlock various rewards, including encounters with Xerneas, Stardust, XP, and Poké Balls.
The Go Pass is free, but if you're looking for even greater bonuses, the Go Pass Deluxe offers premium rewards like a Lucky Trinket, Candy XL, and a variety of useful items like Incubators and Lure Modules. You can upgrade to Deluxe at any point and retroactively collect rewards from previously unlocked ranks.

As you progress, you’ll reach Major Milestones that provide additional perks. Tier one extends the duration of Daily Adventure Incense, Tier two boosts XP and Stardust from Research Breakthroughs, and Tier three increases Stardust and XP from hatching Eggs. And if that’s not enough, the final Deluxe reward is another Lucky Trinket that lets you guarantee a Lucky Friend.

Since Go Pass is still in testing, its rewards and structure may vary between regions. Some areas may receive different encounters, adjusted item rewards, or even PokéCoins at certain ranks. These variations will help Niantic fine-tune the system before its wider release.
If you’re in an eligible region, this is your chance to try out the Go Pass before it globally rolls out. Make sure to claim all your earned rewards by May 8th, and don’t forget to use your Lucky Trinket before it expires on May 11th!
