Pokémon Go celebrates the arrival of Pokémon Horizons: Season 2 with the debut of Tinkatink
Hammer to fall

- Tinkatink and its evolutions make their Pokémon Go debut
- Other Paldea Pokémon will also join the fray
- Lots of rewards will be up for grabs
The Horizons Celebration is back in Pokémon Go, and this time it’s bringing something shiny, smashing, and unmistakably pink as Tinkatink has arrived. For the first time, Tinkatink and its evolutions, Tinkatuff and Tinkaton, are joining the roster during a special event running from April 16th to 22nd.
Those hammers you see the Pokémon carrying aren’t just for show. Tinkaton is known for launching rocks at Corviknight, and now you can evolve your own by collecting candy throughout the week. You’ll need about 125 Candy to hit the final stage.
Alongside Tinkatink’s debut, there’s a fresh costumed twist. Floragato wearing a hat with Liko’s pin will be roaming the wild, hatching from Eggs, and even showing up in Raids. There’s also a chance to spot it as a Shiny if you’re lucky. Several other Pokémon, including Pikachu in Cap’s hat and Charcadet, might show up as well.

A batch of Paldea favourites like Fuecoco, Sprigatito, Quaxly, and Pawmi are wandering the wild while seven km Eggs will hatch familiar faces like Hatenna and Elekid, plus a chance at Tinkatink. Don’t sleep on snapshot surprises either, Horizons characters and their Pokémon could photo-bomb your pics.
Here’s a list of redeemable Pokémon Go codes!
On the battle side of things, Pikachu in Cap’s hat comes with a special move, Volt Tackle, and there’s a solid mix in Raids with Charizard, Metagross, Alolan Muk, and, of course, more Floragato. For bonus hunters, Team Go Rocket balloons will be more frequent, Egg hatch distances are halved, and both Shiny chances and Stardust payouts are up.
There’s also Field Research, and free as well as paid Timed Research with extra rewards like an exclusive avatar pose up for grabs. You could also stock up for the event by purchasing the Celebration Event Ultra Ticket Box from the Pokémon Go Web Store for $4.99.
