  • Entice cats to come visit your yard
  • Leave out toys and treats for a special surprise
  • Visit other players' yards and invite them to yours

Hit-Point Co., Ltd. has finally launched Neko Atsume 2, the adorable sequel to the equally adorable OG cat-collecting game that took the world by cat-astrophic storm when it first launched in 2015. Millions of downloads and almost a full decade later, we now have another reason to dedicate our lives to cat masters on mobile.

In Neko Atsume 2, you can look forward to putting food out for stray cats and waiting for them to leave you little treats as a thank-you. These, in turn, can be used to buy even more treats, along with a plethora of ridiculously adorable cat toys ranging from fancy scratching posts to boxes of tissue paper. All these serve to draw more feline friends to your backyard, and thus the cycle of kitty servitude never ends.

This time around though, you can venture further out by visiting other people's yards and inviting them into yours. Some toys can get damaged and worn out due to too much love - plus, there seems to be a cheeky little shiba inu peeking through your backyard fence from time to time.
