Mongil: Star Dive drops new teaser trailer to hype up Closed Beta Test sign-ups
  • CBT sign-ups are now open
  • New trailer teases monster-taming mechanic
  • Get a closer look at protagonists Cloud, Verna, and Nyanners

It's been a while since we last heard about this RPG, but Netmarble is finally unveiling more details about Mongil: Star Dive thanks to its latest trailer drop. The monster-taming action RPG is also opening its Closed Beta Test sign-ups, so if the trailer piques your interest at all, you might want to throw your name in the hat too.

In the trailer, you can get a closer look at the protagonists Cloud, Verna, and Nyanners (oh my goodness, Nyanners) as they set off on monster-taming adventures across a vibrant fantasy world. Nyanners can help you capture monsters, and you can look forward to diving into party-based combat with lovely animations.

There's a new character named Sangun joining the fray too, it seems, but I suppose we'll just have to wait a little bit longer to know what this East Asian-inspired character will be all about.

As for the CBT, this will run from June 19th to the 26th, and you can try your luck by signing up on the official CBT landing page for all the nitty-gritty. There's also going to be a special CBT sign-up giveaway to encourage everyone to register - in particular, reposting the official Twitter announcement might just let you snag a ROG Ally X (Gaming UMPC) or an Amazon Gift Card worth $30 if Lady Luck is on your side.

For now, though, if you're on the hunt for something similar to tide you over until the official release, why not take a look at our list of the best RPGs on Android to get your fill?
