June’s Journey has revealed the Nature Trails Challenge as part of the 2025 Green Game Jam
Find objects and help save the environment
- Rescue a baby hippo and track 16 million animal footprints
- If the goal is achieved, 800,000 sqft of habitat will be saved and 25,000 trees planted
- Complete the challenge to receive the Curious Onlooker pangolin
June’s Journey is back with a new way to bring real-world environmental impact through its hidden object gameplay. From June 4th to 17th, you're invited to take part in the Nature Trails Challenge, part of the 2025 Green Game Jam. This limited-time event sends you to East Africa on a story-driven mission to rescue a baby hippo.
The goal set by June’s Journey is ambitious but pretty straightforward. The community must uncover 16 million animal tracks during the event. If that target is met, Wooga will make a donation toward wildlife habitat protection and reforestation efforts, helping protect 800,000 square feet of habitat and plant 25,000 trees.
As a thank-you, everyone who contributes will receive an exclusive decoration, the Curious Onlooker, a pangolin designed around this year’s Green Game Jam theme, Nurture Yourself with Nature.
Throughout the event, you'll unlock themed rewards and seasonal decor for your island as you track animals and uncover secrets. Early on, you can also earn the Hippo Family decoration and enjoy a lush new background.
Furthermore, spinning the Fairground Fortune unlocks the Gentle Giraffes, while the Club Mysteries event will add the Wild Dog Pack and a special map filled with animals from diverse biomes. Finally, June 16th and 17th will bring the Trail of Trees special offer, giving you tree-themed decorations to add even more green to your island.

As a bonus, you can also join Green Game Jam’s #AllInForNature campaign, which calls on everyone to leave messages in support of nature. If 100,000 messages are collected, they’ll be shared with global policymakers to show the gaming community’s commitment to the environment.
