Clash of Clans is set to ditch Troop Training times in major overhaul
Attack, attack, ATTACK!!!

- Clash of Clans is set to introduce a major overhaul as it completely removes troop training times
- Now you'll be able to deploy your army near instantly and get into the battle quicker than ever
- Keep an eye on your Training Potions or Treats though, it's time to use them or lose them before things change
While it's an iconic slice of mobile gaming lore I think few would dispute that Clash of Clans shows its age in many places. But fortunately for loyal players, Supercell seems to know that and has been slowly modernising Clash of Clans over the years. But perhaps the biggest change is set to arrive imminently, as Troop, Spell and Siege unit training times are being ditched!
Yes, I can already hear the cries of joy (and some tears) through the screen, but it's true! Coming off the back of Supercell removing training costs back in 2022, it seems that training times are the next mechanic to see the axe.
As of today, Training Potions and Training Treats will be removed from in-app purchases and chest rewards. You'll still be able to nab them in the Trader and Gold Pass for the time being, but it's use them or lose them as they'll be removed and converted to Gems at the end of the month!

To help you take advantage of this new change, Supercell will also be introducing a new mechanic called Match Anytime that lets you attack a snapshot of another player's base if no real ones are available. You'll still earn rewards, but players whose base is used for this won't lose anything if defeated. Clan Wars and Legend League attacks use these already, but now they'll come as standard.
Keep an eye out for a myriad of other changes too, such as Army Donations now requiring Elixirs or Dark Elixirs to donate. Dig into the full details and more on the Supercell blog!
