Tribe Nine pulls in over ten million downloads worldwide since launch

- And now they're celebrating by releasing the original anime on YouTube for free
With its mix of stylish anime visuals and challenging action RPG gameplay, I wasn't exactly surprised to learn that Tribe Nine was "doing numbers" (as the kids say). But I was definitely pleasantly surprised to learn that as of the time of writing, it's already hit over ten million downloads since launch!
To celebrate, fans can nab 1200 Enigma Entities (about enough for 10 Synchro Pulls) as a special reward. Not only that but the latest version 1.0.10 update introduces a brand-new playable character in the form of Kazuki Aoyama, a playable 3-star character who can grant Shields to party members while being able to deal extra attacks under specific conditions.
But for fans of the original series, there's another treat in store as well; the original Tribe Nine anime (usually available only via streaming) is set to air in its entirety via YouTube. Starting March 13th there'll be one episode arriving per day up to a total of 12, all of which will be available until April 29th.
The decision to reward fans not just with in-game goodies but also the anime series for free on YouTube is, I think, quite a clever one. It means that those players who weren't already invested in the series can see what preceded the mobile release and (hopefully) become even more devoted to it.
