App Games' Ludus: Merge Arena is set to see one of its biggest updates yet to celebrate two years since launch and over six million players. That includes a major new mechanic, promo code giveaways and other celebrations to mark this milestone.
The headlining addition in this update is Spells, a major new mechanic that allows you to add further depth and strategy during battle by casting them. You can earn and upgrade these via Spell Fragments available from both the Competition Shop (using Dragon Scales) and Competition Passes.
However, fans of Astral Echo will sadly have to see it drop from the Competition Shop to make room, but you can still nab it from the Clan Shop. But it's not just in-game changes and other events that you can look forward to, as there's also a variety of other milestone celebrations taking place elsewhere in the Ludus ecosystem!
