PUBG Mobile's version 3.8 update brings Attack on Titan to the battleground
  • PUBG Mobile is set to receive version 3.8 with a host of new content
  • The Attack on Titan collaboration brings titan transformations and ODM gear
  • Meanwhile, the new Steampunk Frontier mode offers everything from trains to clockwork robots

PUBG Mobile's battlegrounds are about to get even bigger to accommodate a truly titanic collaboration. In version 3.8, available now until July 6th, you can leap into the massive new Attack on Titan collaboration. Featuring iconic equipment and other additions, it's perfect for fans and newcomers alike.

The Attack on Titan collab brings not only titan transformations to turn you into the titular towering humanoids, but also the iconic Omni-Directional Mobility (ODM) Gear to fling yourself around the battlefield at tremendous speed. And there's a whole lot more coming May 30th with the second part of this collab!

But if you're not an anime fan, then this update, dubbed Dawn of the Steam era, is still jam-packed with a tremendous amount of Steampunk-themed content. Steampunk Frontier mode offers brand-new areas to explore and a complex train network to get you from point A to point B faster than your opponents.

That's still not all! Be it rollercoaster rides, new clockwork attendants to interact with and gain buffs from, or a host of other additions, the Steampunk Frontier is vast in terms of content. And the sky is quite literally the limit as you hop into majestic hot air balloons to survey the mayhem from the clouds above.

It's not just the main modes getting love either, as World of Wonder sees the addition of new decorations such as train carriages and tracks, new weapons including the Welding Gun and M3E1-A Missile Launcher, as well as the Velociraptor enemy type.

Finally, over in Metro Royale, there are a bunch of changes too, with train-themed areas in Arctic Base and Misty Port, as well as the new portable military server that lets you hack to gain valuable intel.

That's still barely scratching the surface, but if PUBG Mobile still doesn't scratch that battle royale itch once you're done playing through this new update, then you're in luck because we've collated our picks for the best battle royales on Android, too!
