The tin can citizens of Boxville are back, and this time, things have gotten a little more complicated. Boxville 2, the hand-drawn puzzle adventure from Triomatica Games, will arrive on PC, consoles, and mobile later this month, inviting you into a wordless world full of charm, mystery, and subtle emotion.
If you played the original Boxville, you’ll feel right at home. But the sequel doesn’t just repeat the formula - it expands on it. The environments are more detailed, the puzzles more layered, and the story more personal.

This time, in Boxville 2, two can-shaped friends are tasked with setting up fireworks for a celebration. One misstep later, chaos erupts across the entire city and all of a sudden, one friend vanishes. Now it’s up to the red can protagonist to venture through Boxville and beyond to make things right.

Everything you see on screen has been drawn by hand, from the tiniest object to the rusting corners of the box-built city. Animations and sounds are finely tuned for each interaction, and there’s no dialogue - just expressive visuals, mood-driven music, and whimsical speech bubbles to guide you through the journey.
Puzzles naturally play a central role, fitting naturally into the world and offering a satisfying challenge without ever veering into frustration. Each riddle is crafted to reinforce the emotional momentum of the story, keeping you immersed while your brain stays engaged. To top it off, controls are intuitive and smooth, making it easy to sink into no matter where you’re playing.
Boxville 2 will release on all major platforms on June 26th. As of now, you can get your hands on the lite version by clicking on your preferred link below. Visit the official website for more information.
