Marvel Contest of Champions kicks off the year with new Summoner's Choice Champion vote
Who'll be the next to join the contest?
- Marvel Contest of Champions is starting off the new year with a bevy of events
- Dora Milaje member Okoye and X-man Gentle join the lineup
- Meanwhile the latest Summoner's Choice Champion vote is underway
With the new year inevitably comes the changing of the old, and for many of us that means resolving to do things differently. But, in the world of mobile things chug on as normal, especially over in Marvel Contest of Champions, where 2025 has begun with new heroes and the chance to have a say in who else joins the contest!
Yes, starting off 2025 we have the addition of two new champions as Okoye, a member of Wakanda's elite Dora Milaje royal guard, and Gentle, an X-man with powerful strength-based abilities but a troubling past; Okoye joins the fight on January 16th while Gentle arrives on the 30th. Not only that, but we've also got the next instalment of the Deathless Saga set to begin January 8th to boot!
And perhaps most notably there's also the return of Kabam's Summoner's Choice Champion vote, where you'll get the chance to have a say in who joins the roster in Marvel Contest of Champions!
The Champions that are currently up for voting are:
- Daredevil (Elektra): A version of Daredevil where Elektra Natchios took up the mask.
- Hellcat: Lifelong superhero fan turned one herself.
- Mr Knight: Moon Knight in a suit, that is all.
- Hunter's Moon: Another dedicated follower of Khonshu that isn't Moon Knight.
- Power Man: Son of a supervillain now turned hero.
- Colleen Wing: Private-eye, hero-for-hire and pretty good with a sword.
- The Shroud: A man of living darkness, spooky!
- Echo: A martial-artist with photographic reflexes and the ability to mimic anyone she sees.
Lifelong Marvel fans will likely recognise many of these names, and if you want to cast your vote for your fave you only need to hop to your in-game mail and claim a Selector to make your pick. You can even compete in-game to earn more votes for your chosen hero! And if they don't make it to the next round, you can instead pick your next favourite who's in with a chance of winning.
