DC Worlds Collide finally hits pre-registration
Back from the ashes

- DC Worlds Collide is finally in pre-registration
- Fans can look forward to a summer 2025 release date
- Worlds Collide will pit DC heroes and villains against one another
It's been a while since we heard anything about DC Worlds Collide, but in a surprising move, the mobile RPG has been (re)announced with pre-registration now open on iOS and Android. Better yet, DC fans can rest easy knowing that there's a release date for DC Worlds Collide planned for later this year, too!
Inspired by the comic book storylines Trinity War and Forever Evil, DC Worlds Collide sees the Crime Syndicate (the evil counterpart to the Justice League) invading Earth. Naturally, this means that both heroes and villains will have to unite to take on the invading forces of the Crime Syndicate.
Gameplay-wise, DC Worlds Collide is not anything too unusual. This 3D turn-based RPG boasts a roster of over 70 recognisable faces from DC, both villainous and heroic alike. As you play, you'll discover new team synergies, interactions and combinations which hope to offer deep strategy despite the larger-than-life figures on show.

DC Worlds Collide will also offer 5v5 player vs. player arenas, alongside its regular Pve combat. You can also look forward to an even larger variety of solo and competitive game modes, minigames and events.
While it's hard to question the popularity of DC's vast roster of characters, at the moment, DC: Dark Legion has the spotlight. So with another new RPG that offers the same premise of heroes and villains teaming up, it's not hard to imagine that there may be some split attention amongst fans and casual players because of that.
But, if you either are the sort of player who wants a break from DC or simply wants to scratch their RPG itch, there are plenty of options out there. Go ahead and dig into our massive list of the top 25 best RPGs on iOS and Android for some of our top picks!
